About An Gallery

My name is Fataneh and I am the founder of An Gallery.

In October 2024, I moved to Germany with my husband and our two daughters after my husband found a position here as a skilled professional. Like many women starting a new life in a new country, I faced the challenge of learning a new language, building a new home, being a mother, and simultaneously finding my own path. The name “An” has a very personal meaning for me. My two daughters' names begin with “An,” and in Persian, their names stand for love. For me, An symbolizes love, connection, family, and the invisible threads that tie our stories together. Although I studied mathematics and biology and worked for several years in digital marketing, I have always been drawn to creativity and craftsmanship. There is something profoundly human about creating something with your own hands—letting something beautiful, unique, and meaningful emerge from simple materials. My love for macramé, knots, textures, and handmade details inspired me to begin this journey with a small investment and a big dream. However, An Gallery was never meant to be just another handmade brand. My vision was to create a bridge—between cultures, between traditional craftsmanship and modern design, and above all, between talented Iranian women and the world. As a mother and a woman, I know how much talent, creativity, and passion reside in the hands of many women who often lack the opportunity to make their art internationally visible. With An Gallery, I want to support talented Iranian women and mothers in making their handmade works accessible to people all over the world. Behind many of our products are women whose creativity, patience, and craftsmanship deserve recognition and appreciation far beyond their homeland. Every knot, every handmade detail, and every resin artwork tells a story of care, creativity, and human connection. At An Gallery, we believe that handmade products possess something that industrial mass production can never replace: time, emotion, authenticity, and soul. Our creations are inspired by nature, feminine aesthetics, the boho style, and the quiet beauty of genuine handicraft. Each piece is crafted with great care so that it feels personal, timeless, and meaningful. An Gallery is not just a brand.
